The Indiana Lyons are members of the American Basketball Association (ABA), which is comprised of nearly 200 teams across North America and Japan.
We are based in Danville, Indiana, and play our home games in Bosstick Gym — affectionately known as the Lyons Den — at Danville Town Hall, 49 N. Wayne Street in Danville. We pride ourselves on providing a low-cost, high-octane, interactive family-friendly experience at our games.
In five season of our existence, we have turned in five winning records, five ABA playoff appearances, three regional championship appearances, two regional championships, and one league championship.
We are the 2020-21 ABA North Central Region Champions and competed in the 2021 ABA Final Eight Tournament.

We are also the 2022-23 ABA Midwest Region Champions and ABA Co-Champions. For more information about our national championship season, click here.
Our Owners
Tyrone Brown is an entrepreneur and successful business owner of Information Systems Consultant’s Inc. (ISCI) for over 20 years. He is the husband of Deborah Brown and together they have six children and five grandchildren. A power couple, the Browns are owners of several businesses: Second Chance Staffing LLC, Deka Lash Plainfield Commons, and Kingdom Entrepreneurs to name a few. They also support others in the formation of various different business ventures and ministry ideas.
Mr. Brown is a native of Chicago, IL where his love for basketball first began. For many years Mr. Brown played in several basketball tournaments in and around the Chicago area, and later began successfully running and operating his own basketball tournaments. So, when the opportunity was presented it seemed only logical that the Browns would jump at the opportunity to be owners of their own ABA basketball team. Given the opportunity to give families an opportunity to come together and be involved in a community activity that everyone can enjoy is very exciting to the Browns.
\“It is our hope that with the Indiana Lyons we can assist with the community’s efforts to bring youth in off the streets to a safe, fun, and affordable environment that the entire family can once again enjoy by building a fan base that makes our families feel like they too have ownership in the team,” say the Browns.

Our vision is to be a beacon of hope and light in our community by reaching men—caring more for these men as an individual than as a player. We aim to support our players on and off the court mentally and emotionally, to help build character. We look to help them succeed in life through basketball, mentorship, and ministry.
