Indiana Lyons Hit No. 3 in ABA Power Rankings

The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced its Power Rankings through Sunday, November 21,and the Chicago Fury held a very close lead over the Texas Seraphim and the Indiana Lyons, all with perfect 5-0 records.  “We have a strong league this year, several undefeated teams lost this weekend and there was a lot of movement in the rankings,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman.  “And we expect it to continue that way all season.”

Indiana Lyons Rise to No. 8 in ABA Power Rankings

The American Basketball Association (ABA) today released its Power Rankings for the week ending Sunday, November 14th and the Chicago Fury held on to the #1 position followed closely by the Binghamton Bulldogs, Texas Seraphim, Palm Beach Stampede and Columbus Blackhawks, all with perfect 4-0 records.  “The season has gotten off the a flying start,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman.  “We still have 24 undefeated teams. The competition is tough.”

Indiana Lyons Begin Season at No. 13 in Power Rankings

The American Basketball Association (ABA) today released its Power Ranking for the week ending Sunday, November 7th and the Chicago Fury held the #1 position with two wins during the Ron Hick’s Classic in Chicago over the weekend.  In a departure from its usual format, only teams with undefeated records are included in the Power Rankings. Several of the top teams in the league have yet to start their schedules. “With 38 games played over the weekend, there were quite a few upsets,” stated ABA CEO.   “And there are many new teams in Power Rankings.  This is going to be quite a season.”
