The American Basketball Association (ABA) released its preseason Power Rankings on Oct. 19, 2022, for the upcoming 2022-23 season. The regular season begins on the first weekend of November. The Indiana Lyons’ first regular season game is on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 5 p.m. against the expansion Excelsior Springs Scream.
The Lyons have nine (9) games scheduled against five (5) ranked teams this season, including one at home against the defending ABA Champion and #1-ranked Steel City Yellow Jackets.
Three (3) members of the ABA Midwest Region are ranked this preseason: the defending Midwest Region Champion Music City Jazz, the Clarksville Phoenix, and the Indiana Lyons.
