Kendric Lee Records a Triple Double

Congratulations to Kendric Lee, who notched a triple double on Jan. 8, 2022, at home against the Vipers Pro Basketball team!

Kendric, who graduated from Brownsburg High School and was a 2020-21 ABA All-Star, had a whale of a game against the Vipers, racking up 17 points, 15 assists, and 10 rebounds. He also swiped 2 steals in the game, which the Lyons won 147-80 to improve their record to 7-3 overall and 7-0 at home.

Trivia Week Offers Opportunity to Win Lyons Tickets

Beginning Sunday evening, we are hosting Trivia Week! Every night from Sunday, Jan. 9 through Friday, Jan. 14, we’ll post an Indiana Lyons-related trivia question on our Facebook page, and you’ll have until 10 a.m. the next morning to answer it.

Indiana Lyons Games to be Broadcast Live on WYRZ 98.9 FM

WYRZ 98.9 FM, your FM voice in Hendricks County, will be broadcasting three Indiana Lyons home games in January. Fans will be able to listen to the game live on the radio at 98.9 FM or online at https://wyrz.org/.

The games that will be broadcast live are:

  • Saturday, Jan. 8 at 5 p.m. vs. Vipers Pro Basketball
  • Saturday, Jan. 15 at 5 p.m. vs. Chi-Town Rebels
  • Sunday, Jan. 16 at 4 p.m. vs. St. Louis Spirits

Indiana Lyons Fall to No. 24 in ABA Power Rankings

The American Basketball Association (ABA) today released its Power Rankings for the week ending Sunday, December 19 and the Chicago Fury maintained its #1 position over the Chula Vista Suns and the Steel City Yellow Jackets, all of which are undefeated thus far this season.  “This is one of the most competitive seasons ever,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman.  “We have 7 teams that are undefeated and a total of 18 with one loss or less. We have a reduced schedule of games over the holidays, but when we come back in January, it is going to be very competitive as teams compete to make the Final Eight in Kansas City in April.”  It took 7 games to qualify for the Power Rankings.
